ThePuparazzi Pet Portraits

Portrait-noun-a likeness of a person or animal, esp. of the face, as a painting, drawing, or photograph: a gallery of family portraits.

Judy’s love of portraiture was formed before she even knew what the word meant. As a child, she would grab any camera she could find around the house and try to capture candids of any living thing crossing her path. Everyone found themselves in the viewfinder at some point. This documentation of her childhood, through her own eyes, evolved as she developed as a photographer to give her a sensibility and sensitivity to create engaging portraits that capture the essence of her subjects.

Judy’s love of animals is in her DNA. Her mother was a farm girl, frolicking with horses, dogs and the menagerie of critters she would rescue. That sense of respect and appreciation for all living things was passed on to Judy, and it shows in her easy way with animals, domestic and wild.

Today, Judy revels in the act of photography–capturing that once in a lifetime moment to recall it and reflect upon it later.  This is never more so true than when she has an animal in her viewfinder.  She puts herself on their level to capture them from their own perspective, and quietly observes them doing what they d0, capturing the candid moments that really tell their story. These images reveal the essence of your favorite fuzzy friends, conjuring a quiet smile and making your heart skip a beat each time you see them.

ThePuparazzi pet photography sessions are held on location either with the portable studio and backdrop or in the environment your pets are most at ease.
